Shara Community Gardens is a member-based community garden servicing the areas of North Ocean Shores, South Golden Beach, New Brighton, Billinudgel and Ocean Shores. We are a not for profit community association formed to assist and educate members and the local community in regenerative and resilient living practices.
While the community garden is for growing food, it’s a wonderful space to gather and learn together. It is also much bigger than the site itself. Our garden is our whole community, and through our efforts on-site, we encourage everyone to grow food in their own gardens and adopt an abundant sharing philosophy.
Membership is $24 per year for individuals, $36 for families or $48 for businesses.
