We are thrilled to announce a wonderful new addition to our community garden, made possible by a generous $500 donation from Feros Care, organized by our dedicated Community Gardens member, Kerry.
With this donation, we upgraded the Gardens with a beautiful raised bed. This new feature is particularly special as it allows our less mobile members to get involved with the Gardens. The raised bed makes it easier for everyone to get digging.
In addition to the raised bed, we also installed a bench beside it, offering a serene spot with a delightful view of the gardens. It’s the perfect place to pause and reflect.
To celebrate the official opening of our new raised bed, we hosted a lovely morning tea in the winter sun. The event brought all ages together to enjoy this new garden feature.
We are deeply grateful to Feros Care for their support and to Kerry for her efforts in making this project a reality. This new addition will undoubtedly enhance our community garden, making it a more inclusive and enjoyable space for everyone.
