Thanks to our NRCF Resilience Grant. We completed the Shara Garden rainwater tank project to secure us from future drought. Then the floods came! So I am only getting around to announcing it now!
We had some money left over from the grant and NRCF approved us to complete the chicken coop with that money. It is located on our shared boundary with the Ocean Shores Preschool with whom we also share wonderful neighbourly relations. The children will take care of the chooks and their eggs and we will use the manure on our community garden. Win win!
